Car lovers hear the same noise and immediately begin a three-hour detective investigation involving Reddit threads, YouTube tutorials, and standing silently in the driveway pretending to "listen carefully" to the vehicle like medieval mechanics.

The relationship between a car enthusiast and their bank account is honestly one of the most toxic dynamics on Earth. Somehow, there is always another upgrade, another suspiciously expensive part, or another tiny modification that "totally changes the whole driving experience." Meanwhile, the car itself is one pothole away from developing a brand new personality disorder.

Every car owner also develops the strange ability to become emotionally attached to completely unreasonable vehicles. It does not matter if the air conditioning barely works, the suspension sounds haunted, or the dashboard lights resemble a Christmas tree during an electrical storm.
